zArtist Bio

B. Howard is a multi-platinum producer and Billboard charted artist. His latest single “Don’t Say You Love Me,” hit Billboard Dance charts top-20 in January 2016.

Howard is an industry acclaimed song-writer, performer, producer, and recording artist. His instrumental abilities, smooth vocals–along with his raw talent–are used to combine old school and new school music that earn him international recognition.

Born to Make Music

Son of R&B singer Miki Howard, B. Howard spent much of his early years at Hayvenhurst, as his mother was managed by Joe Jackson. After being self-taught how to play the piano, he wrote his first song "Spiderwebs" when he was just 10 years old.

It wasn’t until his family tried to forbid Howard from getting into the music industry that the magic really started to happen. He was given a year to make a name for himself, or he had to enroll in college. Howard then set out to prove his talent by building his own relationships and doing what he was born to do—music.

Genesis

B. Howard has been working as a record producer since 2003. His solo career began in 2010, when his song "Ke Nako," ft. Wyclef Jean, J Pre and Jazmine Sullivan, a homage to Nelson Mandela was showcased in Listen Up! The Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Album. The album topped Billboard’s World Album charts. In 2010 Howard released his debut album, Genesis, through 6 Point and Universal Music-Japan. He produced and performed with Asia’s biggest acts: Wind-z, Koda Kumi, Risa Hirako, and K-Pop sensation Jay Park.

Genesis’ first single, "Super Model," was critically acclaimed by MTV Japan and HMV, dubbing him the Prince of Pop. B Howard’s second single, "DanceFloor," featuring contributions by James Poyser, Benjamin Wright, and Questlove, made its U.S. premiere on iTunes and across all digital platforms.

"My success overseas with Universal Music Japan was a great experience for me. Watching my video climb the MTV Japan charts was definitely a huge blessing," said B. Howard.

Multi-Platinum Producer

In between shows, Howard has made features and releases in Nigeria, South Africa, The U.K., Europe and the U.S. He regularly collaborates with with Ne-Yo, Jason Derulo, Vanessa Hudgens, Miguel, Akon, Teddy Riley, Marques Houston, Stomy Bugsy, Chief Keef, and newcomers Legarda, Luke Christopher, Rich White Ladies, Daniel Skye, and MC Galaxy.

In November 2013, B. Howard released "I Do It" via Soundcloud and sparked a new fan base in the U.S. with coverage from The Source, Sway Calloway on Sirius XM Radio, and The Singers Room. B. Howard said after the release:

"I appreciate all my fans that have been there from the beginning, and I’m excited to share this other side of my music and myself with them."

Don’t Say You Love Me

In January 2016, B. Howard headlined with rapper Rick Ross at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a celebrity guest at Monster, Inc.’s exhibit at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM). Also in January 2016 B. Howard made celebrity appearances at the exclusive Maxim Party in San Francisco, California, as well as the Monster box at the SuperBowl.

In January 2018 Howard made a cameo appearance on Corey Feldman’s "A Tale Of Two Corey’s."

2018 started off with a bang for Howard. After filming A Tale Of Two Corey’s, Howard went on to Beijing to greet his fans and sign a new cartoon deal. In February he released his newest singe "Nite and Day 3.0, Girl You Got to Know", a revamp to Al B. Sure!, one of his early mentors. B. Howard has ‘Nothing to Prove’

AXS on Dec 21, 2015

Though you may not be familiar with his music – you’ll swear that you’ve heard it before. This week, B. Howard’s “Don’t Say That You Love” broke into the coveted Top 40 and rose to No. 36on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs list. Its sound is so familiar, you might think it was a “lost song” of Michael Jackson’s. While there’s no denying that the smooth song sounds a lot like something the King of Pop would have written and sung, Jackson has had nothing to do with it.
